Megan McConnell, who were seen wearing each other’s
jerseys in their respective pre-games. The week as well as the day seems to be a good one for the siblings, as both players secured wins with their teams in the respective matches.

Megan McConnell inked her first WNBA contract with the Phoenix Mercury this week, which is a career milestone for the player herself. Having played in the preseason, Megan was previously waved, before returning to the team once again and simultaneously securing a win against the Golden State Valkyries on June 5, 2025.
It is a day of celebration for both TJ McConnell and Megan, whose teams have secured much-needed victories in their respective matches. The Indiana Pacers made a last-minute comeback as they secured a 1-point lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder, who had been leading since the beginning of the match. TJ, who scored 9 points with 1 rebound and 4 assists, was the one who helped maintain the pace of their team until the other players caught up and built up the momentum, claiming the victory.
The Mercury, too, showcased a thunderous performance against the Valkyries, dominating the match throughout. What caught the attention of the users across the internet is the way the brother-sister duo showed their solidarity for each other in the pre-game. Ahead of their respective matches, both TJ and Megan were seen donning each other’s jerseys as a sign of supporting each other. TJ was seen wearing his sister’s Mercury jersey, while Megan donned and carried off the Pacers’ point guard’s jersey effortlessly during the pre-game.
