crore. These are early estimates of Tuesday numbers, but as per that, the film has seen a drop of Rs 3 crore from the Monday numbers. The film is mounted on a very high budget being a muti-starrer with some exquisite locations, VFX among other costs.
Thus, it will have to hold up steady all through the week and see growth over the next weekend in order to also recover all its costs. However, it would have done so through the OTT streaming and satellite rights as well.According to Box Office India, the film will have to continue to do well in circuits like Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, CI to succeed. 'Housefull' is originally a family comedy franchise but as per the trade, the fifth installment now stears towards being an adult comedy and a suspense thriller which has led to lesser footfalls in certain markets. There could have been more family audience in centres like Gujarat and Maharashtra if it was a family comedy.
