He revealed how close they had been since their school time and shared: “When me and KD met, bro, we were attached at the hip.
Like I said before, KD was the first time I ever brought my Xbox out the house. KD was my man. My mom used to pick us up from school, his mom used to drop us off. If I didn’t have a ride, I’d catch the bus to his house. Even his brother, Tony, man, me and Tony used to kick it. We just grew up like that.”He further said, “ If I did something messed up, his mom was gonna pop me, and vice versa. It was never about basketball with us. When I first started playing with KD, I was trash at basketball. I was trash. He was always the one. I could just rebound. Every game, I had 30-40 rebounds. Wherever Kevin was, I was getting 20 offensive rebounds, throwing it back in. Same way he plays now, since he was 10 years old.”
